(Album Review) (BUT, AT WHAT COST??!) by SILVERTUNG
This Friday, Baltimore, Maryland’s own SILVERTUNG will be releasing their album full of rock anthems entitled (BUT, AT WHAT COST??!) via Thermal Entertainment. With this release, fans will be once again clamoring for the band that melted faces on mainstream rock radio with the songs “You & Me” and “Face The Music”.
The four piece band is composed of Speed on lead vocals/guitars, Codey on lead guitar, Danno on drums, and Sam Sour on bass. They were at one time the number one most added request on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts and they will certainly achieve that status and then some with this Friday’s release.
The vocals are gritty and the guitar riffs are memorable, which make for great rock songs in songs such as “Dodging Bullets” and “Feel Inhuman”. Now that your seatbelt is buckled and you’re grabbing the oh-shit handles in your car, because “World Gone Mad” takes you on an insane ride. “World Gone Mad” kicks off with thundering drumming led off by Danno and the guitars are brilliantly played by Speed and Codey. It is mosh pit inducing and head nodding for those in the back. I see this song as immediately being a crowd pleaser at a Silvertung concert.
It is just a wonderful change of pace to hear a band that just focuses on writing well-thought out lyrics with memorable guitar licks and a rhythm section that pounds at your chest as you let the music penetrate your soul. Job well freaking done Silvertung! You’re back to reclaim the throne of the underground hard rock world. 9 out of 10 stars! Here is the track listing:
Dodging Bullets
Feel Inhuman
World Gone Mad

Black Sunset
You’re Fine
